A 27-year-old Florida man, Shane Sanders, was arrested on Sunday evening following a 911 call from a witness who reported seeing him push a woman to the ground on the side of S County Highway 83. The caller informed dispatchers that Sanders, from Santa Rosa Beach, then attempted to force the woman into a vehicle, repeatedly shutting the door on her. Upon arrival, Walton County Sheriff’s deputies discovered that Sanders had fled into the Point Washington State Forest. He was apprehended shortly after that.
