The new football season is almost upon us and teams in our area are gearing up in preparation. Newark and Sherwood United will kick off their campaign on July 27 in the United Counties Football League Premier Division North when they play against newly-promoted side Shirebrook Town. This will be the first season ground sharing with Harrowby at the in Grantham following their departure from Station Road at the end of last season when their ground share agreement with Collingham came to and end.
