Donors of the US Democratic Party have sent a letter to the incumbent President, Joe Biden, urging him to “cement his legacy” by ending his bid for re-election, according to the Washington Post. “We respectfully urge you to withdraw from being a candidate for reelection for the sake of our democracy and the future of our nation,” says the letter, which was signed by 168 donor representatives.
