French biathlon world champion Sophie Chauveau will miss this week’s World Cup events in Soldier Hollow, Utah, because she has been denied entry into the United States. Chauveau said on Instagram Tuesday that her Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) was not validated, without giving further details. Chauveau, who helped France win the women’s relay world title last month, will miss the races in Soldier Hollow which are scheduled for Friday to Sunday.
