The fifth stage of the Critérium de Dauphiné cycling race was neutralised on Thursday after a mass crash which also involved overall leader Remco Evenepoel and main rival Primoz Roglic. A large number of riders fell on a wet descent 21 kilometres from the finish line of the 167km stage from Amplepuis to Saint-Priest. “The stage will be neutralised due to the lack of medical assistance still available.
