A carpet and flooring company opened a new shop yesterday (August 5) in the heart of the town centre. Carpet Bargain Centre opened on 37 Appletongate, Newark replacing the former carpet and flooring shop — Kings Flooring — that closed its doors last year. The shop offers a varied selection of carpet, vinyl, laminate flooring, LVT Flooring and rugs. Newark is the seventh shop of the company, with other branches in the East Midlands, in Wellow, Ollerton, Blidworth, Warsop, Shirebrook and Mansfield. It will be open Monday to Saturday.
