As votes came in for the Republican primary contest in Vermont, former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley held a slight lead on former President Donald Trump. The New York Times had Haley at 48.45 percent of the vote and Trump at 47.98 percent with 34 percent of the votes in about 8:35 p.m. It wasn’t the first time on Super Tuesday that Haley eked out a slight lead over Trump.
