A busy route is shut this morning after farming equipment fell off a lorry and into the road. Police were called to the A257, between Canterbury and Littlebourne, shortly before 8.30am. A police spokesman said: “Officers are currently on the scene and the road is closed between the junctions with Swanton Lane and Evenhill Road. “No serious injuries have been reported.” There are long delays in the area, impacting traffic in Canterbury, Fordwich and Littlebourne.
