A young athlete from Balderton has returned with a medal after a magnificent performance at the English Schools Championships. Maisie Mullett finished in third place to claim a bronze medal in the Junior Girls 1500m race in the event held at the Alexander Stadium in Birmingham. The 13-year-old was selected to represent Lincolnshire after making the national qualifying standard. The event was held over two days and is the biggest schools competition across England with 125 teams taking part.
