Oppo releases a new tablet called Oppo Pad 3. The tablet will make its debut on the Chinese market. It is not yet known whether the brand plans to introduce it outside of China.

Tipster Digital Chat Station has now revealed some key details about the Pad 3. According to DCS’s post on Weibo, the Oppo Pad 3 will feature a 9230 mAh battery, which will likely be advertised as 9500 mAh.

The source also adds that the tablet will feature a 3K LCD display, which may be slightly larger than its predecessor. As for the internal stuffing, the tablet will be equipped with an advanced Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, paired with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. Previous reports have shown that the tablet will have an all-metal body.

For comparison, the Oppo Pad 2 has an 11.61-inch IPS display with a resolution of 2800 x 2000 pixels and a refresh rate of 144 Hz. The Pad 3 is likely to increase the display size to 12 inches.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip will be a significant improvement over the Dimensity 9000 chip in the Pad 2. The extra RAM may seem like a lot, but it can be very useful when multitasking. The Oppo Pad 3 is expected to be released this month, so stay tuned.
