Officers from Fenland made an arrest after a drink driving crash. Fenland police, East of England Ambulance Service and Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue attended a single-vehicle collision on March Road in Wimblington on Monday night after a drink driver crashed their vehicle into some trees. The driver was arrested on suspicion of drink driving after providing a breath test of 153 – the legal limit being 35. The driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries and was later discharged. Enquiries continue into this matter.
