Traffic was brought to a standstill on a rural road after an accident. The driver of a white car crashed into a telegraph pole on the Lenham Road last night at Headcorn. Police shut the road shortly after 7pm while the telegraph pole, which was leaning over the road, was made safe. There are no details of any injuries. The road is the same one in which four people died in a single accident back in October 2021.
