Faith Kipyegon of Kenya has been reinstated as 5,000 metres Olympic silver medallist after an original disqualification for obstruction. World champion Kipyegon was beaten for gold by team-mate Beatrice Chebet on the home stretch, and was then also stripped of her silver. But the original order was restored shortly before midnight, the ruling body World Athletics said, with Sifan Hassan of the Netherlands taking bronze.
