More than 100 people have been injured in a collision between two trams in the Russian city of Kemerovo in western Siberia. Rescue workers initially reported one death on Thursday, according to TASS state news agency. Some 80 people, including several children, were brought to hospital. The trams collided on the approach to one of the two bridges over the River Tom. It was unclear what caused the accident, with possibilities including brake failure or driver error.
