Although Julian Alvarez is now set to leave Manchester City for Atletico Madrid, Arsenal did reportedly table their late interest to their Premier League rivals. Arsenal were willing to pay £70m for Alvarez, but there was no intention on City’s side to sell to Mikel Arteta once again.
