A group of mates are taking on the Three Peaks Challenge for a friend who has cancer. Curridge woman Maddie Deacon, 24, was diagnosed with leukemia during the pandemic. She was due to have stem cell treatment but relapsed in February this year. She will now need more chemotherapy and another stem cell treatment to beat the cancer.
