Angry Christians are calling for an “absurd” silent disco being held in Canterbury Cathedral to be cancelled and are planning a protest. Critics of this week’s event say they do not want “an alcohol-fuelled rave to the music of Eminem in God’s house”. The disco will see headphone-wearing ravers dancing to classic 1990s tracks from the likes of the Vengaboys and All Saints.
