Hospice volunteers were described as “intrinsic” when they were thanked for their hard work during an annual ceremony. The Norfolk Hospice Tapping House held its annual event at Lynn Town Hall where helpers who give up their free time were celebrated. The celebrations were held during National Volunteers Week. Volunteers at Tapping House help support 4,500 patients annually in a number of ways from working in one of the hospice’s charity shops to driving patients to and from the hospice.
