A charity wine tasting and quiz evening has raised £1,200 in the fight against cancer. Held at the Newark independent wine merchant Ann et Vin, on Castlegate, the event was raising money for Cancer Research UK was attended by 72 people. During the first part of the evening, guests were given four white wines and four red wine to taste blind, which they then had to match to the tasting notes.
