Diners at Stansted’s Rose and Crown pub were shocked when Labour Party leader and favourite to be the next Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer joined them for Sunday lunch. The political heavyweight stopped off at the Bentfield Green pub with his son, two friends and his security team on Sunday (March 3) where licensee Stacy Whiffen and her staff were ready to greet them.
