Images taken by the Sentinel-2 satellite, taken on Jan. 6, shows a Project 11711 ship docked in Sevastopol Bay. The Petr Morgunov landing ship, which belongs to the same project, was reportedly deployed to the Black Sea for exercises in January 2022, before the start of the Russian full-scale invasion. This ship was mostly stationed in the bay of Novorossiysk, according to Krymsky Veter. The Petr Morgunov is the second ship of the series, which was commissioned on Dec. 23, 2020.
