Liverpool’s youngsters faced another big test on Wednesday as they came up against Blackpool in the EFL Trophy. The Reds were playing their third and final group stage game at Bloomfield Road. Having been thumped by Crewe on matchday one, Liverpool picked themselves up to draw with Harrogate Town in September.
