A major region in North England plans to turn 28 roads into 20mph speed limits with drivers urged to share their feedback on the scheme. Westmorland and Furness Council in Cumbria revealed it is currently looking at rolling out more 20mph zones to boost road safety in the area. The lower speed limits came after the council received interest from its local parish and town council in creating safer streets.
