Ashleigh Plumptre is disappointed to miss out of Nigeria’s squad to the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. The versatile defender was left out of Randy Waldrum’s 18-player squad for the competition due to fitness concern. Plumptre suffered an injury while in action for her club, Al Ittihad in March.
