Kirby Smart knows a thing or two about the College Football Playoff. As the defensive coordinator at Alabama, the Crimson Tide were part of it in both 2014 and 2015. Then, when Smart came to Georgia, the Bulldogs were in it by his second season. Smart and Georgia have made two more appearances in the Playoff – winning national championships both of those times.
