The delayed reopening of a key link at the Stockbury Roundabout will take place on Monday morning, highways chiefs have confirmed. The junction off the M2, for Maidstone and Sittingbourne, is currently undergoing major work for the multi-million pound Stockbury flyover project. Now it has been confirmed the Oad Street link will reopen at 6am on Monday. It had been delayed due to bad weather. A spokesperson for National Highways said: “The new, upgraded road will join the roundabout directly, rather than the A249 southbound providing a safer route for traffic entering or exiting Oad Street.” Ah…
