AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. — San Diego State finally won a basketball game above 4,000 feet this season and did it convincingly, racing to a 25-point halftime lead and grounding Air Force 77-64 before a sparse crowd for an 8:45 p.m. weeknight tip on “Pack the House Night” at Clune Arena. The No. 24 Aztecs came to the Academy’s 7,080 feet of elevation with an 0-3 record in thin air: losses at BYU, New Mexico and Colorado State.
