Japan will host a women’s international friendly against Ghana on July 13 in preparation for the Paris Olympics, the Japan Football Association announced Tuesday. Nadeshiko Japan, currently ranked seventh in the world, will face No. 64 Ghana at Kanazawa Go Go Curry Stadium. The new stadium is home to J-League third-division side Zweigen Kanazawa. Head coach Futoshi Ikeda’s squad are also scheduled to face No. 28 New Zealand in Murcia, Spain, on May 31 and June 3 as part of their Olympic preparation.
