Russian President Vladimir Putin met with selected families of soldiers killed in action in Ukraine on Orthodox Christmas Eve, according to a news agency citing a Kremlin spokesman on Saturday. A programme of exhibitions and performances was organized for the relatives before Putin received them at his Novo-Ogaryovo residence near Moscow, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told Interfax news agency.
