RALEIGH, N.C. — The Blues are proving they can play with some of the league’s best teams. They’re showing they can beat them, too. Two nights after beating Western Conference-leading Vancouver, the Blues beat perennial Eastern Conference threat Carolina, 2-1, in a shootout. Brayden Schenn scored the game-deciding goal for the Blues in the fifth round of the shootout. Nathan Walker scored his first goal of the season for the Blues, as Jordan Binnington submitted another strong start since returning from the Christmas break. He made 29 saves on the night, including 13 in the second period alone….
