Memorial services for the first anniversary of the Hamas terrorist attack have begun in Israel. Israeli President Isaac Herzog observed a minute’s silence early on Monday morning at a kibbutz near the Nova music festival site, where the tragic events unfolded on October 7, 2023. At the time that the commemorations were starting, the Israeli army announced that four missiles had been fired at Israel from southern Gaza. Three of the missiles were intercepted, while one landed in an open area, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said.
