Aspiring female footballers had the chance to shine as they took a shot at joining a growing club last weekend. Newark Town are currently looking for new players aged 16 or over to join its Ladies First Team and Developement Team ahead of the 2024/25 season. The club welcomed around a dozen participants of all abilities to an Open Training Session at the YMCA Community and Activity Village on Lord Hawke Way, Newark, last Sunday.
