An investigation has been launched following reports of violent disorder in a Fenland town. The incident happened in Chatteris High Street close to the Spice Lounge restaurant yesterday afternoon and is believed to have involved smashed glass. A police spokesperson said: “At about 4.30pm yesterday we were called to reports of violence in High Street, Chatteris. When we arrived all parties had left the area. “Crimes have been raised for violent disorder and threats to commit criminal damage and an investigation is ongoing.”
