Voting in decisive second round of the presidential election in Slovakia came to an end shortly after 10 pm (2000 GMT) on Saturday. Some 4.4 million voters were called upon to choose the future head of state in a run-off election between the liberal former foreign minister Ivan Korčok and the social democratic parliamentary speaker Peter Pellegrini.
