Drivers are facing severe delays after the Dartford Crossing was closed this afternoon. Police are responding to an incident on the Kent side of the QEII Bridge. Traffic is experiencing delays of an hour and National Highways says it does not currently know when the road will be able to reopen. A spokesman for Kent Police said: “We were called at 1.36pm on Saturday to a report of a concern for the welfare of a person near the A282, Dartford.
