The route of this year’s eagerly anticipated Tour of Britain has been fully announced, with the international race set to return to the streets of Newark and Sherwood for a fourth time. Newark itself will play host to a stage finishing line once again on Friday, September 6, with Stage Four ending in Sconce and Devon Park. The stage has also been designed to showcase both Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire as part of efforts by the new East Midlands Combined Authority to boost tourism in the region.
