The family of a Fakenham museum volunteer has paid tribute to him as a “loved and respected member of his community”. Alistair Hunter, 77, a volunteer at Fakenham Gas Museum, died after a collision near Guist – a village between Fakenham and Bawdeswell – on September 21, 2023. Alistair had been driving from Fakenham to his home in Foxley, near Bawdeswell, when his vehicle was involved in a collision just north of Guist.
