Britain’s Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) said on Thursday that the proposed deal in the domestic appliance sector between Turkey’s Arçelik and Whirlpool of the United States can go ahead in the United Kingdom. An independent CMA panel has gathered and analysed a wide range of evidence, and found that Arçelik and Whirlpool will continue to face significant competition from other suppliers.
