A yellow weather warning has been issued for Kent with heavy rainfall expected to hit the county. The alert has been put in force by the Met Office from 2am tomorrow (Thursday) until 6am on Friday. It says periods of heavy rain could lead to disruption, particularly to transport services. People are being warned journey times on bus and train services could therefore take longer. Spray and flooding on roads is also on the cards. Meanwhile, homes and businesses could be damaged due to possible flooding.
