Israel claims to have defeated the military wing of Hamas – a year after the terrorist group launched their attack on October 7. Lieutenant General Herzi Halevi announced that Hamas had been destroyed, although Israeli forces in northern Gaza continue to target Hamas operations as the group attempts to regroup.
