Barely a month to the upcoming local government elections in Plateau State, Governor Caleb Mutfwang, has dissolved the 17 Local Government Transition Implementation Committee Chairmen, effective from September 6, 2024. DAILY POST recalls that the Transition Implementation Committee chairmen were constituted on June 9, 2023. The governor has directed Directors of Personnel Management (DPMs) to take charge of the councils until local government polls are held.
