Newcastle United have been busy on the transfer front this summer as they look to strengthen their ranks for the coming season. The Magpies have made five signings to date, bringing goalkeepers Odysseas Vlachodimos and John Ruddy, plus defender Lloyd Kelly, to St James’ Park. Newcastle have also made Lewis Hall’s loan move from Chelsea permanent and secured the signing of young Serbian defender Miodrag Pivas.
