It was a cold windy evening in Kirkby. The kind of evening where you could see your wispy breath coiling in the air as you exhaled. There were few people in attendance to watch Liverpool’s FA Youth Cup encounter with Burnley. But I was there watching on from the stands. Liverpool’s U18 team lined-up with the likes of Stefan Bajcetic, Bobby Clark and Luke Chambers. All of them were brilliant on the night as the Reds ran out the 4-1 winners.
