A large donation has been made to a children’s charity in Thatcham. St James’s Place Charitable Foundation donated £10,000 towards the costs of a Play Leader at Swings & Smiles (S&S). The funding will go specifically toward Play Leaders who provide respite service. For parents and carers of a child with complex disabilities, having an opportunity to have time for themselves is hugely valuable.
