A DRINK-driver was caught after getting his car stuck on an embankment. A passer by watched in astonishment as Wayne Grantham frantically revved his engine in a vain bid to free the vehicle. Then they called police. As a result, 53-year-old Mr Grantham, of New Lane Hill in Tilehurst, appeared in the dock at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, January 2, charged with drink-driving.
