A village hall will once again be transformed into a local cinema for a moving wartime story next week. Shouldham Entertainment Committee is presenting the recent big screen release ‘One Life’, starring Anthony Hopkins at the village hall on Friday, June 14 at 7pm. One Life tells the true story of Sir Nicholas ‘Nicky’ Winton, a young London broker who, in the months leading up to World War II, rescued 669 predominantly Jewish children from the Nazis.
