It was a tough day for Newark Rugby Club as the 1sts went down 67-24 against league leaders Lichfield at home in the Regional Two North competition. Tries from wing Ovi Gilder and hooker Jamie Vinters helped bring an early 17-14 lead. However, overall Lichfield were too strong and pulled clear in the second half.
