A permanent transfer from Leeds United to AS Roma may not be far away for Diego Llorente. Llorente is currently in the midst of a season-long-loan deal in the Italian capital having impressed on loan there in the second half of the 2022/23 campaign. Roma had a purchase option of around £18 million to sign Llorente permanently in the summer, but that fee was deemed too high and so the two clubs returned to the negotiating table for another loan deal.
