Srinagar: Altaf Bukhari has lost the Chanapora seat to National Conference (NC) candidate Mushtaq Guroo. Following the defeat, Jammu & Kashmir Apni Party (JKAP) President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari congratulated Guroo on his victory. In a statement shared on his official X handle, Bukhari said, ” I congratulate Mushtaq Guroo Sahib on his victory in Chanapora. I am thankful to those who voted for me and those who didn’t. I humbly respect the public verdict.” Bukhari was defeated by a margin of 5,688 votes.
