Alyson Fordham claimed two wins when Bishop’s Stortford Swimming Club members represented Hertfordshire at the Swim England National Masters Inter-County competition. Taking part in the 65-plus age category, she triumphed in both the 50m freestyle and 50m backstroke. Fordham also came second in the 50m butterfly and secured a third-place finish in the 50m breaststroke. Lucy Wheeler and Niamh James, both in the 18-plus section, came ninth in the 50m freestyle and 10th in the 50m backstroke respectively.
